Sales Positions: We're a fast growing player in the wrecker industry and need a self-starter who can build and manage their own business and complement our team of sales all-stars. Technicians: Our 30 year old Wrecker Distributorship is always looking for motivated individuals to join our team of technicians. Prior wrecker repair and service experience is helpful but not necessary. Must possess a great attitude and desire to do quality work in fast paced installation/repair facility. ABOUT PURPOSE WRECKER SALES
Purpose Wrecker LLC was founded in 1981 by Ken & Sue Malpocker and
has grown to become one of the preferred distributors in North America
to purchase towing and recovery equipment from.
Ken Malpocker graduated from Christian Brothers College, Memphis, Tenn, in 1973 with a bachelor of science degree in Business Administration. Ken's career began as a territory sales representative for automotive Test Products and in 1977 Ken accepted a position with Hallmark Cards of Kansas City.
Following his interests in the towing & recovery industry, Ken resigned his position with Hallmark in 1981 and formed Purpose Wrecker Sales with his wife, Sue. Purpose Wrecker started out at a small location on East Pittman Avenue in Wentzville and in time outgrew those premises, establishing a credible name for itself in the towing & recovery industry.
At Purpose Wrecker we consider ourselves to be wrecker specialists. We don’t get bogged down with other types of sales – like cars, assorted equipment or snow plows. We exclusively specialize in wreckers. From our parts and service departments to financing & marketing, we remain focused on providing the best service and customer care to the wrecker industry.

We're proud of our 4+ acre, 15,000 sq. ft. facility, located just west of St. Louis. It houses 15 bays - loaded with a tremendous parts department and state-of-the-art installation and service equipment exclusively for wreckers and car carriers. Our lot holds a great selection of new and used units in an assortment of different sizes, models, ages, to fit all needs. Light duty, medium duty and heavy duty - we're sure to have the new or used tow truck, car carrier or heavy duty wrecker that you're looking for.
