We stock a wide variety of preowned wreckers and used tow trucks for sale. The used wreckers offered by Purpose Wrecker Sales are trade-ins that we've accepted on new tow trucks and equipment. We also purchase quality used tow trucks and rollbacks from customers, distributors, finance companies and manufacturers. Many of the used tow trucks and heavy duty wreckers we receive are refurbished to meet our high standards of providing quality, reliable and affordably-priced alternatives to new trucks.

At Purpose Wrecker Sales we're dedicated to everything wrecker. We don't get bogged down with other types of sales—like cars, assorted equipment or snow plows. We exclusively specialize in wreckers. Our repair service center features 15 service bays, which allows us to provide you with quality rollback, wrecker and tow truck installation, service and repair.

We also carry a wide range of high-quality Miller Industries new truck parts, along with a wide variety of used wrecker parts. From our parts and service departments to financing and marketing, we remain focused on providing the best service and customer care to the wrecker industry.

Purpose Wrecker LLC was founded in 1981 by Ken and Sue Malpocker and has grown to become one of the preferred distributors of towing and recovery equipment in North America. Purpose provides top-quality tow trucks and heavy-duty wreckers from Miller Industries for sale to towing and recovery professionals throughout the Unites States and various other countries. The Company has a service department to install and service the vehicles and a parts department to provide customers with the parts needed to keep their vehicles operational.

The Company started out in a small location in Hazelwood, MO then relocated to O’Fallon, MO in 1983.In 1998, the Company relocated to Pitman Road in Wentzville MO. In 2008, we purchased the land and building in Lake St. Louis where we currently operate. We are proud of our 4+ acre, 15,000 square foot facility where we have 15 bays loaded with state-of-the-art installation and service equipment to build and service wreckers and carriers. From our parts and service departments to sales, marketing and administration, we remain focused on providing the best service and customer care to the wrecker industry.

In 2013, Purpose added an installation facility in Wright City, MO. The land and building there have been remodeled to provide an efficient installation facility. The lot there holds most of the new chassis and beds waiting to be installed and a great deal of the completed units.

In 2016, Ken and Sue sold the business to their son Andy Malpocker to carry on their legacy. Ken later retired in the fall of 2019. Andy continues to focus on providing employees with a safe and superior working environment while providing the best wreckers and carriers in the industry. Our focus is to provide a great selection of new and used units to meet the demands of our customers.

The Company is currently working on plans to expand the facility in Lake St. Louis to provide more lot space and the availability to combine installation facilities.
